Job Description

SPK Technologies is looking for an experienced Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs.
The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with backend frameworks, database integration, and the ability to build secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Develop backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and/or Python.
  • Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and project managers.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Follow software development best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend technology: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
  • Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of database design, SQL, and query optimization.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Familiarity with debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with system integration and distributed applications.
