Job Description

As an Advanced Python Engineer, you will author and implement automated solutions to ensure quality. In addition, the Advanced Python Engineer will train and mentor QA and junior roles in writing sustainable, clean code.

Essential Functions:

Autonomously author new framework code, requiring little guidance or correction
Plan & task out framework functionality in Jira
Maintain & author performance testing solutions under the guidance of architectural leadership
Develop & maintain reporting framework (using Flask)
Participate in peers’ Code Reviews
General troubleshooting of framework code
Mentor team in writing high quality code
Lead projects from start to finish
Maintain the CI/CD pipelines as they relate to running and using the code you’ve written
Attend & participate in architectural meetings
Share the responsibility of mentoring company personnel on quality activities
Architect & author automation frameworks as needed
Organize & encourage code quality discussions

Capability & desire for communication with various audiences & roles
for effective collaboration

Advanced or better level of Python skillsets on their way to mastery.
Equivalent skill with other languages will be considered, especially
when paired with a desire to learn Python
Problem solving mindset
